Setting up your mouse for Cs Go Account

Posted on July 11, 2015
The right equipment

Mouse sensitivity and the mouse itself is a preference, which is different for everyone. In this Game Cs Go Account though You should get a gaming mousepad. Everybody has a different taste and preference, which means it’s up to you which one you’re going to pick. You should get a huge mousepad though, because you’re going to play preferably with a lower sensitivity witch is good for your Cs Go Account

Setting up the right DPI for your mouse

Actually there isn’t a ‘right’ DPI setting, it’s just the settings most of the people and professionals use these days. The normal DPI Setting is between 400 DPI and 800 DPI. You should choose one of these because these two are the most precise settings that exist, and won’t affect the mouse movement in the end. Anything between/under/over them is not going to be a 100% precise. There are people who are using 1600 DPI, but that’s only preference. You can change the DPI of you mouse easily in the software of your gaming mouse for cs go account

Why a lower DPI and sensitivity is better (Why 400/800 DPI?)

This has a simple reason. In Counter-Strike you need pixel perfect presicion to aim perfectly. And that’s where a lower DPI and sensitivity is helping big time. You can’t aim presicely if your crosshair is going way to far if you move your mouse just a little bit, so pick a lower sensitivity. Also, the reason why you should use 400 or 800 DPI is simple. These are the native DPI settings of most of the gaming mice out there. If you aren’t using the native DPI settings of your mouse your cursor or your crosshair ingame won’t flick perfectly to points where you want to, it’s going to be affected a little bit, and that’s something you don’t want to happen at any costs.

Stick to one sensitivity

This is the most important thing. Your body has something called “muscle memory”. This is the memory of the muscle of doing something. In Counter-Strike it’s remembering how far you need to move your mouse to move your crosshair ingame to a specific spot. You shouldn’t change your sensitivity all the time. Choose one that feels good, and stick to it, only like that your muscle memory is going to learn the movements.

Finding your perfect sensitivity

This one can take some time. Sensitivity is a thing of preference and you need to find your own over time. Just pick one to start, (prefereably a high one) and go lower and lower until you think it’s perfect. This may take some time, but it’s absolutely necessary.

In the end sensitivity is really just a preference. You shouldn’t just pick a super low sensitivity just because everybody says so. The DPI though, you really have to pick something between 400 or 800 DPI, because these two are the most precise settings. Just choose a fitting sensitivity after picking one of the DPI settings ingame, and you should be good to go!
